All these kind words. Praising strength, praising courage, praising joy and wisdom. And they believe them to be true. Do they not realize? The joy hides despair; courage, fear; wisdom to hide cluelessness; strength to hide pain. All a veil to cover the faults. The shames. I'm ashamed.

Yet they pick it apart, stitch by stitch, thread by thread. They praise the joy because of the despair; the courage because of the fear; the wisdom for cluelessness; strength because of pain. "For when you are weak, the you are strong (2 Corinthians 12:10b NIV)."

Why can you not accept it? The adivce, the words, the help, the love. Set before you for the taking, yet you do not take.
You are no burden. You have a burden.

"Then let us be rid of it...once and for all! Come on, Mr. Frodo, I can't carry it for you, but I can carry you! (Lord of the Rings - The Return of the King)"
